If your child is new to competitive tennis or just starting their match-play journey this event is the perfect introduction. Our Starter Tournaments are designed to be fun, supportive, and confidence-building, helping young players learn how to compete in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

Hi Team Stony

We have our team ice hockey night at Planet Ice, Milton Keynes. We’d love for you and your family to join us for what promises to be a fun and action-packed evening together.

We’ll be heading there on Saturday, 7th February to watch MK Lightning take on the Sheffield Steeldogs — a great chance for our players and families to enjoy the buzz of live sport off the court.

Hi Team Stony Tennis

I just wanted to send a personal note to say thank you for joining our Junior Christmas Party. It was such a pleasure seeing over 25 young players come together and make the afternoon so special.

The kids brought so much joy and energy — from the tissue-roll mummy wrapping, to the spoon race, to the endless laughter over cookies and warm pizza. Moments like these are what make our community feel so close and full of spirit, and I truly appreciate you being a part of it.

Hi Team Stony Tennis,

I was thrilled to see such an excellent turnout at our Starter Tennis Tournament last weekend and what a brilliant day it was for everyone involved.

Our 8&U and 10&U events were full of enthusiasm, determination, and impressive tennis. 12 young players took to the courts, showcasing strong rallies, great teamwork, and a wonderful spirit of sportsmanship from start to finish. The round-robin format proved to be a great success, offering every participant plenty of match experience and the chance to apply what they’ve been learning in coaching sessions.

A huge well done to all of our players for making the event such an enjoyable and exciting occasion. The confidence, focus, and positive attitude shown throughout the day were fantastic to see.

I would also like to extend a big thank you to Coach Toby for running the events and the parents for your support on the day. Your encouragement makes a real difference!

Our new format of timed matches and the “score as many points as possible” approach received excellent feedback, helping players stay engaged, think tactically, and keep the rallies flowing. We will continue to build on this structure to provide fun competitions that support player development at every level.

Looking ahead, we have more exciting Starter Tennis Tournaments coming up, with dates now live on our website. We’ll also be introducing new challenges and match-play opportunities designed to help players grow in confidence, learn match etiquette, and put their training into practice in a friendly competitive setting.

Our 8&U Team smashed it at Bucks Indoor Centre, taking home the 1st place. A massive congratulations to  Annia, Mia, Matteo and Eli, they have made us all proud.

Every game they played, they showcased their passion and real team spirit. Watching them on court giving their all, was truly inspiring. They dreamed big, trained hard and conveyed what it exactly means to be part of Team Stony Tennis.

What an incredible day we had on Sunday, 7th September, celebrating the 2025 SSLTC Club Championships Finals Day!
