Weekly group coaching sessions that run for 48 weeks a year for ages 3 to adults of all abilities |

LTA Youth Tennis Leaders is our exciting leadership programme for young people aged 11 to 18. The programme provides young people, whatever their tennis ability, with the opportunity to gain invaluable leadership skills both on and off court. |
Age Group |
What to expect |
3 & 4 |
These sessions introduce pre-schoolers working with their parents to tennis. We focus on creating a fun environment developing their physical skills, such as hand-eye coordination, movement and body awareness through exciting games. All players on this course get FREE club membership. |
5 to 16 |
Players are split into ability groups within the sessions and follow our Team Stony Awards Scheme. Players start on the right level for them and progress at their own rate. They learn the fundamentals for tennis including coordination, balance, agility, receptive skills and more to develop tactical and technical skills for matchplay. |
Adults |
Tennis is a wonderful social sport and many people are put off if they think they are not good enough. Everyone can play tennis and we ensure that everyone enjoys learning and improving together. Our Foundation sessions get new adults or people returning to the sport playing the game as fast as possible. Our Intermediate sessions build on the foundations to play social-competitive tennis. We also have a Cardio Drills session for all abilities for a great tennis workout! |
