If you're thinking of joining a tennis club, look no further! We are always looking for new members to join the club. We suggest to either come to the club on Adult Club Night every Wednesday from 18.30 onwards or Junior Club Night every Thursday during term time from 16.30-18.30. The first visit is on us for free, try us out, play some tennis, meet some existing members and chat to the committee member or coaches on duty.

We run an induction programme for all new members to help them integrate into the club and find the most suitable level of tennis or integrate you into our teams if team play interests you.

ANNUAL Membership priceS
Annual subscription fees effective from 16th September 2022. If you are joining as a new member your membership will run for a full calendar year from the date you join. Stony had only increased its subscriptions once in the past fifteen years, and that was only 10% to partially cover the exponential rise in energy costs.

- Once you join and your payment has completed, you will be sent a welcome email with confirmation . Please feel free to start using the club but ensure you have your payment reference to hand.
- Members not wishing to play for any one season may retain their social membership by paying a retaining fee.
- Members receiving income support or benefits are eligible for a 50% reduction in the above fees. Please enquire of the Membership secretary
- Weekday members may use the courts Monday to Friday (including Bank Holidays) until 5pm.
- Adult members (including Weekday) may book up to two hours per day. Junior and Young Person can book up to one hour per day. You can double up of course using your opponent member account.
- As a CASC club with a club bar license there needs to be an elapse time of at least 48 hours between your application and membership becoming active. If you are desperate to play as a new member in those two days, please get in touch and we can sign you in as a guest.

As a member of our club your personal data will be processed by SSLTC for the purposes of club and membership administration and to facilitate your participation in club activities. The privacy policy (right) sets out the way we process your personal data and we’ve created this privacy policy to make sure you are aware of how we use your data as a member of our tennis venue.

Visitors
Membership guests are welcome at SSLTC. The fee for a visitor is £3.00 per hour per adult, or £1.50 for a Junior under 18, with a maximum of three visits per guest per year. Members must pay for and enter your visitor as an opponent at the point of booking. Recognised tennis clothing and footwear should be worn whilst on court.
Free British Tennis Membership
The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) is providing a unique opportunity to members of LTA affiliated clubs such as Stony. The LTA offers you FREE membership to British Tennis, its membership programme. This membership and benefits are only free to members of affiliated clubs such as ours. Joining British Tennis means becoming part of the British Tennis Family of 1 million-plus members. It means building a strong foundation for a winning British game. It means being recognised for your contribution to tennis. It means supporting tennis from the grass roots to Centre Court.
As part of your membership of Stony we encourage you to sign up for British Tennis Membership to become a part of the future of British Tennis. Please do so at here and you link your membership to Stony Stratford tennis club.
British Tennis Membership is an individual membership scheme for adults and juniors who play or have an interest in British tennis. People who sign up to the scheme receive individual benefits and become part of the British tennis family. Benefits include entry into our club's ballot for Wimbledon tickets; an LTA player rating; the opportunity to access additional packages including other world class tennis events and a TeamCard loyalty card that lets British Tennis Members earn points when they shop with TeamCard's partner retailers.
Club affiliation is in effect "club membership to the LTA". Clubs join their county tennis association and as a result the club and its committee or management receive a number of benefits. Benefits include comprehensive cover through the LTAs liability scheme protecting clubs and their committees; legal and financial advice available on demand through the BASeline service; the opportunity for club teams to compete in both county and national leagues; and access to a network of county offices and a wide range of expertise covering facilities, talent identification and development, club school links, coach support and competition. Part of each member's annual subscription to SSLTC is used to pay the club affiliation fee to the LTA.
Wimbledon tickets Please note that your clubs allocation of Wimbledon tickets will be based on the number of your club members (adults and juniors aged 9 and over) who have signed up as a LTA Advantage Tennis Member.
Wimbledon tickets will only be available to Advantage Members. Look out for emails from the LTA in the autumn on how to opt in for the ballot.
