Hi Team Stony Tennis,
We are delighted to announce that SSLTC has been selected to host a brand-new initiative in partnership with the tennis charity Bright Ideas for Tennis, called “I Play 30.”
This inspiring programme aims to make tennis more accessible for children with disabilities, and we are incredibly proud to be involved.
Through this initiative, we will be working closely with Redway School, providing trained coaches to deliver inclusive tennis sessions at the club for children with a wide range of disabilities.
The campaign is led by former British Davis Cup player Danny Sapsford, now Manager of Bright Ideas for Tennis, and we are extremely excited to support this meaningful project.
Free Training Opportunity
Before sessions begin, free specialist training will take place at the club:
Date: Thursday 5th February
Time: 12:00 – 3:00pm
Venue: Stony Stratford Tennis Club Ostlers Lane, Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes, MK11 1AR
The training will be delivered by either Danny Sapsford, Mark Bullock or Stuart Wilkinson, who together bring over 25 years of experience in disability sport.
This session is not just for coaches — it is open to anyone interested in learning how tennis can positively support people with disabilities and helping to make our sport more inclusive.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us at [email protected].
We truly hope many of you will take this opportunity to be involved in a practical, inspiring session that uses tennis to change lives.
Happy tennising!
