What an incredible day we had on Sunday, 7th September, celebrating the 2025 SSLTC Club Championships Finals Day!

A huge congratulations to every single player who took part. Whether you lifted the trophy or not, your effort, sportsmanship, and love for tennis made the day so special. The atmosphere was full of great rallies, nail-biting tie-breaks, and plenty of smiles from players and supporters alike.

A big round of applause to all the finalists for their fantastic matches and to everyone who came to cheer and support.

Events like these are what make our tennis community so special. We can’t wait to see even more players competing next year!

​Hi Team Stony Tennis,

What a fantastic week it was for our players at the County Tournaments! We are incredibly proud of the effort, determination, and amazing performances shown by each and every one of them. 

Here’s a round-up of some of the brilliant results:

• Sofia H – 10U Girls Singles County Champion
  
• Ben – What a week! Bedfordshire County U16 Singles Champion, U16 Doubles Champion (with a brand-new partner!), U14 Doubles Winner, and powered through to take the U16 County Closed Final 6-3, 6-1 after beating the No.3, No.2, and No.1 seeds!
  
• Freddie – U11 Doubles Runner-up in the Northants County Closed.
  
• Jack – A clean sweep in Northants County! U14 Singles Champion, U14 Mixed Doubles Champion (after some tough 3-set battles, including a 2hr 30min epic), and closed the week with U14 Boys Doubles Champion.
  
• Emily – Crowned the Bucks County Women’s Final Champion!
  
• Miguel (with partner Alex) – Runners-up in the U14 Doubles.

I am hugely proud of all our players that have been competing over the Summer holidays. The hard work, dedication, and fighting spirit that every Team Stony player displays is why we are so successful both on and off the tennis court.

We now go again, with another year of training hard to raise the bar even further!
